Description
After so much digital stuff it was time for another traditional piece.
I'm trying to focus on original art and improving my drawing skills, so I'll be doing some more experimental stuff.
Anyway, this is a (kind of) recycled idea. Some years back I already did an attempt on a orange mermaid, but... let's just say I would really like to erase that drawings existence...
This OC will be part of a series of characters that are inspired by colours. I will make all of them half-human to make it a bit more interesting and also practice animal features.
I already have a design for red and violet as well, so these illustrations might be next on the list.
Obviously I am extremely creative with titles...
Done on A4 with Copic Markers, Coloured Pencils and White Gel Pen.

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactYour work is very... extraordinary! I love the contrasts of the colours: the mermaid (siren) is all orange (and it's a beautiful orange!!), a hot color; and the rest of the picture is entirely blue, a cold color. And I like the top is light and the bottom much darker: it gives a realistic view of a under sea environment.
I also love the way the mermaid herself is drawn. The hands, the very VERY long hair, the fish parts,... I like the eyes too. The face is pretty, but I think you should have drawn the nose and the mouth just a very little more on the left. But besides that point, I think your work is perfection, and I say BRAVO! You are very talented.
